Course description

During this one-day in-class course( 9 am to 5.30 pm), students will learn how to cover a 3-tiered cake (8",6", and 4" round dummy cakes 5" tall) with fondant, to stack the cakes and then decorate using a floral arrangement made in class.

The course will start at 9 am, demonstrating how to make the petals and leaves and create the floral arrangement.

The instructor will explain step by step how and what to make and what to use. Then, it will be your turn to replicate.

The second demonstration will be about

  • how to cover using three different methods of covering with fondant
  • get the straight edge 
  • stack the three-tiered dummy cake 
  • assemble the floral display 

Students will have to replicate all the above and will have the option to select their favourite colour scheme. By the end of the day, they will complete the project with the instructor's guidance.

Students will take home all their creations at the end of this intensive one-day class. 

This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE class, which means all you need for the course( equipment, consumables and packaging) will be provided.

Refreshments ( coffee, water, tea, fruits, biscuits) will be complimentary throughout the day; lunch will not be provided.

Access to the classroom will only be permitted 10 minutes before the starting time of the class.

INTERMEDIATE, who want to brush up their skills and achieve flawless finishing on their fondant cakes.
